Position Overview

Catholic Health Initiatives is offering a remarkable full-time position for a Plastic Surgeon specializing in Breast Oncologic Reconstructive Surgery. This role is integral to our expanding Division of Plastic Surgery, which collaborates closely with Surgical Oncology.

Key Features of the Role:

  • Work within a network of six hospitals, enhancing access to premier cancer care.
  • Primary practice locations include a recognized Breast Center of Excellence and an academic medical facility.
  • Engage with a high-volume breast radiology service, performing extensive mammography and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of specialized reconstructive cancer care across multiple facilities.

This position welcomes candidates of all experience levels. We are in search of a Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Plastic Surgeon with fellowship training in Breast Oncologic Reconstructive Surgery. The role includes an academic affiliation, with faculty rank aligned with professional experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain precise and current patient records.
  • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately.
  • Diagnostic Procedures:
  • Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Perform relevant procedures as required.

  • Work alongside nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
  • Quality Improvement:
  • Engage in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Compliance:

Qualifications

  • Board Certification or eligibility in the relevant medical specialty.
  • Valid and unrestricted state medical license or eligibility.

Compensation

$278.85 per hour
