About the Role

We are seeking a skilled breast surgeon or surgical oncologist to join our team at the Allina Health Cancer Institute. As a member of our multidisciplinary breast program, you will work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
  • Practice in a thoughtful manner, considering cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
  • Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
  • May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
  • Utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows.
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
  • Board certified in general surgery required.
  • Completion of a breast fellowship or surgical oncology fellowship required.
  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.
  • BLS required within 180 Days.
