Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role in a large-scale IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security protocols, and network management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux/Unix), virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework, IT security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and system administration tasks is preferred but required.
  • Project management experience or certification (PMP, ITIL) is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
  • Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to work sites and plants, etc.
  • Ability to read and write in a professional manner.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background and credit check.
  • Excellent communication skills.
