Job Description

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to join our team in Londonderry, NH. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage department operations in accordance with established standard practices
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate records of production, shrink, sales, and inventory
- Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs
- Supervise performance of all duties and responsibilities of assigned department associates
- Role model outstanding friendly customer service and lead by example
- Use good judgment in delegation, assignment, and follow-up required for efficient performance

Requirements
- Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Ability to use computers and other communication systems required to perform job functions
- Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a 'Certified Food Safety Manager' within 90 days of employment
