Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist II to join our team in an outpatient setting. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of complex communication disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and overseeing the work of entry-level staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests to adults and children with communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with physicians and caregivers as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior therapists, participating in staff development programs and monitoring the work of contract therapists.
  • Develop and maintain department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate and Basic Life Support certification.
