Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in implementing company goals and objectives
  • Manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient service and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 associates, providing guidance and coaching to improve performance
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to address customer complaints and resolve issues
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, ensuring compliance and effective implementation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • Basic math concepts and ability to manage cash and inventory
Working Conditions

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with regular exposure to:

  • Wet or humid conditions
  • Extreme cold from freezers and coolers
  • Extreme heat from ovens
  • Moderate noise levels
Equipment and Tools

The Shift Manager will be required to use standard restaurant equipment, including:

  • Slip-resistant shoes with closed toe and heel
  • Hairnets/Hats
  • Safety Cutter
  • Computer
  • Uniform per policy
