Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Client Service Specialist to join our team at Truist Inc. As a key member of our sales and service teams, you will be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, vendors, and teammates by providing exceptional internal and external service support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new and renewal business within established timelines and quality standards, including updating and maintaining information in our client management system.
  • Escalate complex issues to internal contacts according to department standards.
  • Provide timely information to clients, including plan details, rates, contributions, and carrier contacts.
  • Assemble proposals and presentations for client and prospect meetings.
  • Address and resolve client questions and issues.
  • Support the service and production teams in achieving overall agency revenue and retention goals.
  • Assist with marketing efforts as needed.
  • Document member and client communications in our client management services tool according to department standards.
  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and other communications based on the needs of the internal team and clients.
  • Assist clients with claims resolution.
  • Participate in company-sponsored seminars, training workshops, and webinars to enhance industry knowledge and education.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and project skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work with responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism in all matters.
  • Prioritize work to achieve timely completion of critical activities.
  • Respond quickly to client requests and provide appropriate information.
  • Accept accountability for the quality of work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of industry-specific experience.
  • LOB designations.
  • College or advanced degree.
  • Life & Health License.
