We are looking for a dedicated Norwalk Medical Office RN to join our team at Norwalk Hospital. As a member of our medical office staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Job:

  • Prepares materials, supplies, equipment, and patients for physician or physician assistant exams
  • Obtains patient histories, vital signs, and basic medical data
  • Provides direct patient care, such as ear irrigation, vaccinations, and medications
  • Collects, prepares, and analyzes patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants
  • Instructs patients on how to perform preventive care, take medication, and prepare for tests
  • Contacts patients to provide follow-up information, test results, or physician instructions
  • Performs organizational tasks to support the practice's quality improvement initiatives
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position

Qualifications:

  • Five years of job-related experience preferred; one year of supervisory experience required
  • Medical knowledge and terminology, computer skills, and data entry proficiency
  • Knowledge of insurance contracts and requirements, clinical and business office functions
  • Verbal and written English proficiency

Compensation: $32.64 - $65.01 per hour, based on experience, with a geographic premium included.
