We are seeking a skilled Delivery Room Nurse Specialist to join our team at Norwalk Hospital Association.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the delivery room. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to hospital standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • RN license to practice in the State of Connecticut.
  • Minimum one year of experience in labor and delivery.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification.
  • Labor & Delivery - NRP, ACLS, EFM certifications.

Compensation and Benefits:
