Key Responsibilities- Assemble sub-assemblies and/or finished products in accordance with written and verbal instructions.
- Perform on-line testing and inspection activities to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Clean and prepare units for next operation in accordance with company procedures.
- Comply with all safety and hazardous material procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with all requirements of our Quality System in accordance with ISO9001.
- Initiate Engineering Change Requests to improve quality, reduce cycle times, and/or to correct nonconformities.
- Maintain accurate records and provide assistance to other departments as needed.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and submit suggestions in accordance with our Continuous Improvement Program.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures to achieve a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
- Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all coworkers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs properly and safely.
- Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
- Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce exposure to liability.
- High School graduate, or equivalent, plus minimum 5 years as Mechanical or Hydraulic Assembler, or weld fabricator.
- Experience performing mechanical, hydraulic assemblies.
- Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and testing.
- Ability to recognize all colors in a normal spectrum.
- Basic knowledge of SPC fundamentals.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures and material flow.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with supervisors, members of management, vendors, and other employees.
