Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to maximize and support 100% of all inbound and outbound customer traffic, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position requires an individual with excellent people skills, who can effectively interact with the dealership's management staff and sales managers.

Essential Functions

The following are the key responsibilities of this role:

  • Work a daily business plan and communicate with customers
  • Manage and measure lead activity using eLead CRM
  • Leverage auto responders, personalized email templates, and phone guides to drive appointments and sales
  • Initiate the EMI and select the right vehicle with the help of the floor manager
  • Present the vehicle based on the customer's needs and wants
  • Demonstrate vehicles at the dealership
  • Present arithmetic to customers and facilitate paperwork
  • Deliver vehicles and sign customers up for first service appointments
  • Unsold follow-up of prospects who do not buy
  • Follow-up for people who did not show for appointments
  • Sold follow-up for customers who buy
  • Referrals and household prospecting
  • Ongoing customer contact to promote loyalty and retention
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing retail

Demonstration Drives

Salespersons will accompany customers on demonstration drives. Under no circumstances will customers be allowed to drive a new or used automobile without being accompanied by a salesperson.

Dress Code

All salespeople will keep themselves and their work area neat and clean. Excellent hygiene and grooming are a must. A company polo or shirt and tie are required for all men and business professional attire for all women.
