Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Test Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As an RF Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and equipment for our diverse suite of RF and digital product hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop testing methods and equipment to ensure high-quality product delivery
  • Troubleshoot and support RF and digital hardware to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Support technicians through training and guidance to ensure effective troubleshooting and repair
  • Monitor product yields and work to maintain program yield targets
  • Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions
  • Interface with manufacturing management, test technicians, production engineers, design engineers, system engineers, program management, and program support teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics, and block diagrams
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as scopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and guidance
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware
  • An understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with FPGA
  • Experience with LabWindows CVI, C/C++ programming
