Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Test and Development Engineer or Principal RF Test and Development Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Manufacturing Operations Test Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and equipment for our diverse suite of RF and digital product hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment to ensure the quality and reliability of our RF and digital product hardware.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and support RF and digital hardware, including hands-on testing and troubleshooting, analysis of failure trends, and root cause/corrective actions.
  • Test Data Analysis: Analyze test data to identify early trends and compile data to define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions, and effectively communicate across teams to ensure seamless execution of testing and development activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in RF test and development, depending on level of position.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of RF theory and concepts, digital circuit design, and analytical skills to review requirements, test plans, and test scenarios.
  • Certifications: Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level clearance and U.S. citizenship.
