We are in search of an Associate RF Test Engineer with a Secret clearance to become part of our team in Baltimore, MD. This role is ideal for proactive and self-driven individuals eager to take ownership of the performance and delivery of Northrop Grumman's extensive range of RF and digital product hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement testing methodologies and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and support RF and digital hardware
  • Assist technicians with troubleshooting and training
  • Support First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and hardware deliveries
  • Analyze test data and identify early trends
  • Compile data and define necessary changes in testing equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements
  • Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware enhancements and solutions
  • Monitor product yields and strive to maintain program yield targets
  • Participate in program meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions
  • Report yield issues and corrective actions during program meetings
  • Interface with various teams including manufacturing management, test technicians, production engineers, design engineers, system engineers, program management, and program support teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics, and block diagrams
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level clearance
  • U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and guidance
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware
  • An understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with FPGA
  • Experience with LabWindows CVI, C / C++ programming

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200
