Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Revit Foodservice Design Specialist to join our team at Troon Golf. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings in the Revit platform to meet our established foodservice design standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Drafting: Complete detailed technical drawings in the Revit platform to meet our established foodservice design standards.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Deliver the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure our drawings are the foundation for a successful project.
  • Design Project Management: Support Design Project Managers as design lead on within established timelines.
  • Client Communication: Support Design Project Managers in client communications and relationship management.
  • Task Management: Take initiative to drive assigned task work to completion.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate proactively with your coworkers and work independently as well as on a team, under communicated deadlines with the ability and autonomy to manage your schedule.
  • Drawing Maintenance: Maintain drawing sets, as required, as projects progress, making necessary revisions and sk's as required.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate on systems and process improvements for Design Development.
  • Company Standards: Uphold RFHSD standards, processes, and procedures as they relate to the design department.
  • Culture and Brand Ambassador: Actively participate in the advancement of RFHSD team culture with clients and co-workers, and make suggestions on improvements if needed.
  • Company Mission and Vision: Gain proficiency in communicating RFHSD company mission, vision and values and be an ambassador for our brand.
  • Sales Support: Support the RFHSD sales process through your technical expertise, as beneficial and requested.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Gain proficiency in Salesforce use as a tool to manage project pipeline, BD and sales.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a drafting or foodservice designer role with proficiency in Revit and a relevant drafting portfolio.
  • Education: Architectural degree is preferred.
  • Skills: High-level attention to detail, commitment to excellence, strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and pivot quickly between projects, conversations, and tasks.
  • Personality: Strong desire to make an immediate impact as well as to make a lasting impression on the company, ability to thrive under the highest expectations, communicated deadlines, self-motivation, and accountability.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in hospitality is a plus, and hospitality mindset a must.
  • Professional Experience: Experience working professionally with a diverse range of people, internally and externally.
  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Workspace knowledge a plus.
