The selected candidate will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing business requirements by conducting interviews with stakeholders, facilitating requirement workshops, and leading backlog refinement sessions. This position requires close collaboration with Product Owners, end users, and various stakeholders to effectively elicit, document, and validate new requirements, as well as to test existing ones and create user stories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support developers and testers by providing clear and comprehensive requirements.
- Facilitate the prioritization of user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Possess a deep understanding of business intent to aid the team in developing both business and technical requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in business analysis across diverse and complex scenarios.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in the insurance sector is essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in writing user stories.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, data/process mapping, and Visio.
- Experience in digital project environments.
- Understanding of integrations and data standards, with the ability to produce quality documentation for data mapping and process flows.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the capability to work effectively with clients and IT teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to structure and lead collaborative working sessions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience interacting with all organizational levels, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with multi-source offshore delivery centers and shared services environments is advantageous.
- Experience in developing estimates and prioritizing deliverables.
- Background in Agile methodologies, including the ability to prioritize and update features and stories, as well as familiarity with Behavior and Test Driven Development.
- Experience as a member of a Scrum team is required; familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework is preferred.
