In this essential position, you will play a pivotal role in steering the successful delivery of our initiatives, utilizing your deep understanding of Agile practices to lead and empower multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily team gatherings for status updates, orchestrate and direct Sprint planning sessions, and oversee Sprint review processes, retrospectives, and progress tracking metrics.
  • Anticipate and eliminate barriers in sprints and projects to guarantee timely achievement of goals.
  • Deliver Agile training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders to enhance comprehension and application of Agile methodologies.
  • Develop and refine user stories, including facilitation, prioritization, and negotiation with business sponsors, stakeholders, project leads, product owners, and development teams.
  • Establish and execute metrics and reporting frameworks to monitor the progress and effectiveness of sprints, projects, and overall program execution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation, including business process diagrams, functional specifications, use cases, test strategies, and additional supporting specifications.
  • Act as a key communicator to bridge gaps between diverse product owner perspectives, ensuring alignment and consensus on project priorities and objectives.
  • Utilize expert negotiation and conflict resolution skills to navigate complex discussions, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where all voices are acknowledged and integrated into actionable strategies that drive project success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active or prior IRS or Department of Treasury clearance at the Public Trust level or above.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Enterprise IT environment.
  • Familiarity with requirements tools and tracking (e.g., JIRA).
  • Experience with software lifecycle, implementation tools, languages, and methodologies such as GitHub, Oracle, AWS, Java.
  • Proven experience in providing Agile training and coaching.
  • Experience conducting daily scrum stand-up meetings, PI planning, and Release planning, facilitating Sprint planning meetings, and coordinating Sprint reviews, retrospectives, and burn-down charts.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and remove impediments from sprints and projects to ensure on-time completion.
  • Experience in developing user stories, including facilitation, prioritization, and negotiation with business sponsors, stakeholders, project sponsors, product owners, and development teams.
  • Proficient in developing metrics and reports for tracking sprint, project, and overall program execution.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
