Job Summary

As a Nutrition Care Associate with Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service to our patients and customers. This part-time position requires a reliable and dependable individual who is interested in career growth opportunities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain food and/or supplies from storeroom and deliver them to the appropriate areas.

Present trays to patients using the patient identifier process and ensure accurate cash/credit transactions according to corporate standards.

Stock and clean areas, including setting up and servicing catered functions according to requested level and scope of service.

Prepare food and beverages, following standard recipes and assembling ingredients, and maintain an organized and sanitary working environment.

Perform housekeeping functions, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, and equipment, and follow HACCP standards.

Requirements

Food Handler's Permit (as required by the County)

Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and handle problems and difficult situations.

Basic math skills and one year of food service or cashier experience preferred.

Work Environment

This role requires interacting with patients and co-workers, operating food service equipment or computer, and tolerating extremes in temperature and exposure to cleaning chemicals. The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for long periods of time.
