Job Summary

As a Mental Health Counselor CNA with Intermountain Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support. Your expertise will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients through effective planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of Mental Health Counseling inpatient experience or three years of memory care/skilled nursing facility experience with behavioral health patients.
  • Successful completion of nurse assistant training program.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Certified as a nurse aide in the State of Colorado.
