Job Summary:

As a Nutrition Care Associate at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and food service. This part-time position requires a reliable and dependable individual who is interested in career growth opportunities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain food and supplies from the storeroom and deliver them to the appropriate areas.

• Present trays to patients using the patient identifier process and ensure they have access to their food.

• Stock and clean the food service areas, maintaining a sanitary and organized environment.

• Independently resolve customer service issues and perform accurate cash/credit transactions according to corporate standards.

• Balance and reconcile the cash drawer and maintain proper quantities of production with appropriate rotation of product.

Requirements:

• Food Handler's Permit (as required by the County)

• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and handling problems and difficult situations.

• Basic math skills and one year of food service or cashier experience (preferably in a hospital setting).

Work Environment:

This role requires interacting with patients and co-workers, operating food service equipment, and standing for long periods of time. The ability to tolerate extremes in temperature and exposure to cleaning chemicals is also necessary.

Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, UT

Hourly Rate:

$21.88 (dependent on experience)
