Position Summary:
American Girl is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to fill the Lead Sales role.
This position entails assisting the department manager with daily operational tasks, providing leadership, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the retail sales manager in various business functions, including merchandise oversight and team development.
- Maintain floor presentation standards, motivate and coach team members, monitor inventory levels, communicate effectively with management, and enhance sales performance.
- Exemplify exceptional customer service to elevate the guest experience.
- Serve as Manager on Duty, overseeing the sales floor and promptly addressing customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, ideally within retail or service sectors.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Strong background in customer service, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
