American Girl Los Angeles Seasonal Host Part Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Seasonal Host Part Time to join our team at American Girl Los Angeles. As a Seasonal Host Part Time, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and working closely with the restaurant team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and seat guests promptly, maintaining accurate waitlists and maximizing seating capacity.
- Manage large crowds in a professional manner and resolve challenging service situations diplomatically.
- Create and maintain a pleasant ambiance in the dining room and party rooms through lighting, music, and table placement.
- Communicate accurate dining room and party room setup, along with special requests and birthday information, to the restaurant team.
- Share information on store and restaurant events with guests.
- Utilize Zomato reservation and InfoGenesis register systems, along with Microsoft Office, to perform job functions.
- Initiate training opportunities with restaurant staff.
- Assist restaurant staff as needed to provide an outstanding dining experience.
- Experience as a restaurant host, hotel concierge, or related customer service position is preferred.
- Computer skills including restaurant reservation and POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and use of basic office equipment (copiers/fax), are preferred.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
