Senior Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Gable Search Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead capital equipment projects at a leading international manufacturer in Nashville, TN.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to manage large-scale investment projects and drive growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead capital equipment projects, including boilers, cranes, and furnaces, to upgrade the entire plant.
  • Manage and oversee plant maintenance systems, such as power distribution and heavy lifting cranes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement commercial projects and drive continuous improvement objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 15-20 years of engineering experience, with a focus on commercial projects and plant maintenance systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with plant maintenance systems, including boilers, power distribution, and heavy lifting cranes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis training.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications.
