Key Responsibilities:

MEP Systems Commissioning: Execute prefunctional and functional testing of systems, providing insightful feedback to design teams and stakeholders.

Engineering Solutions Development: Create innovative solutions for complex MEP systems. Conduct research, design, evaluate, and troubleshoot systems and processes, applying engineering principles to fulfill project requirements.

Energy Audits Leadership:

  • Conduct site evaluations to assess MEP system performance.
  • Formulate energy conservation strategies.
  • Calculate potential energy savings.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders for guidance and decision-making.
  • Prepare RFPs for proposed energy conservation measures.
  • Oversee contractors to ensure successful implementation of recommendations.

Engineering Calculations: Provide accurate calculations to support design initiatives or resolve technical challenges.

Problem Resolution: Identify and devise effective solutions to emerging technical issues.

Facility Condition Evaluations: Perform thorough assessments of facility conditions.

Business Development: Proactively seek new business opportunities to expand our client base.

Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualities:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.

Licensing: Candidates should hold or be pursuing a Professional Engineering (PE) license within one year.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Mechanical Engineering is essential. Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

Remote Work Capability: Candidates must be able to work effectively from home while maintaining engagement.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe software is necessary.

Travel Requirements: Frequent travel is expected, with a commitment of approximately 40% travel time.
