Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker III to join our team at the Robeson County Department of Social Services. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to vulnerable children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the unique needs of each child and family, with the goal of reunification and stability.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services are provided.
  • Provide transportation and logistical support to facilitate access to necessary services and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in court proceedings and other legal activities as necessary.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Or, Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited institution and completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative (for Child Welfare positions only).
  • Or, Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited institution and one year of directly related experience.
  • Or, Master's degree in counseling in a human services field and one year of social work or counseling experience.
  • Or, Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited institution and two years of directly related experience.
  • Or, Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years of directly related experience.
