Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into reports of neglect and abuse, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide expert testimony during legal proceedings and maintain ongoing case management and preventive services for clients.
  • Present detailed case studies during team meetings to assist in determining appropriate medical, correctional, or psychiatric interventions.
  • Collaborate with various professionals, including educators, legal representatives, law enforcement, and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution with a minimum of one year of relevant experience; or
  • A Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited institution with at least two years of experience in social work or counseling; or
  • A Master's degree in a counseling discipline with two years of social work or counseling experience; or
  • A four-year degree in a human services-related field with three years of social work or counseling experience; or
  • A Bachelor's degree in any field combined with four years of experience in rehabilitation counseling, pastoral counseling, or a related human service area, focusing on casework, group work, or community organization techniques; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of the social work collaborative may account for one year of work experience.
