As a Pipeline Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of pipelines, pigging and cleaning, cathodic protection, right of way control, equipment, and performance of work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, Maintain, and Operate Facilities: Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump station equipment in a reliable and efficient manner while in compliance with the company's procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Pipeline Pigging and Purging: Perform pipeline pigging and purging operations to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of oil and gas.
  • Cathodic Protection Surveys: Conduct cathodic protection surveys to identify and mitigate potential pipeline threats.
  • Right of Way Control: Ensure that pipeline rights of way are properly maintained and protected.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Performance of Work: Perform work associated with the operation and maintenance of gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a demonstrated safe driving record is required.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills are required to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A mechanical aptitude is required to perform operation and maintenance tasks associated with various types of facilities and equipment.
Working Conditions:
  • Frequent Exposure to Adverse Weather Conditions: Frequent exposure to heat, cold, and other adverse weather conditions is expected.
  • Work in Industrial and Construction Settings: Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials, and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery.
  • Frequent Heavy Lifting: Frequent heavy lifting with and without assistance is expected.
  • Reliable Attendance: Reliable attendance at work is required.
  • Occasional Overnight Travel: Occasional overnight travel may be required.
