About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for processing accounts payable, performing account reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain fixed asset ledgers and properly record additions and disposals.
  • Collaborate with management to prepare budgets.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including bank account reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and posting monthly journal entries.
  • Perform fluctuation analysis on income statement accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP accounting standards.
  • Assist with Audits and Reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and BILL.com is required.
  • Experience with Alteryx is highly desired.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Corporate tax knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standard in handling financial information and confidential data.
  • Prior dental industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to reliably report to our location for scheduled shift.
  • Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Full-cycle accounts payable experience.

Location

We are located at our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA. This position requires full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package to successful candidates.
