Overview

The Department of Cannabis Control is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join its Policy and Research Division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cannabis policy and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Job Summary

This is a 12-month limited term position that may be extended to 24 months and/or become permanent. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II, the Senior Policy Analyst will formulate complex policy analysis, conduct research, reporting, implementing, and provide high-level expertise related to policies for the Department of Cannabis Control.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth policy analysis and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Department
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of policies
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on cannabis policy and regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, law, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in policy analysis or a related field.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $83,585 - $145,929 per year, depending on experience.
