Associate Designer, Outdoor Furniture

As an Associate Designer of Outdoor Furniture, you will be responsible for designing and developing products that meet seasonal trends and business needs. Under the direction of senior leadership, you will follow the development process from concept to approval.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate Trends and Concepts: Translate seasonal trends and concepts into designs that meet business needs for the relevant product category.
- Develop Designs: Develop designs from initial concept through approval, ensuring that they meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Pull Tears and Assemble Concepts: Pull tears and assemble concepts to create a cohesive and visually appealing design.
- Create Presentation Decks: Create presentation decks to showcase designs to the design, merchant, and leadership teams.
- Develop Designs through Sketching and 3D Modeling: Develop designs through sketching and 3D modeling, ensuring that they meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Prepare Product Renderings: Prepare product renderings to showcase designs to the design, merchant, and leadership teams.
- Present to Design, Merchants, and Leadership Team: Present designs to the design, merchant, and leadership teams, ensuring that they meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Complete Product Specifications and CADs: Complete product specifications and CADs to ensure that designs meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Own the Development Process: Own the development process through daily communication with the sourcing department, vendors, and agents.
- Comment on Product Samples: Comment on product samples to ensure that they meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Issue Product Approvals: Issue product approvals to ensure that designs meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Coordinate Sample Presentations and Organize Samples: Coordinate sample presentations and organize samples to ensure that they meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards.
- Minimum 2-3 Years Professional Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Degree in Design or Equivalent Experience: Degree in design or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Drafting, 3D Modeling, and Rendering: Experience with drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering, including proficiency in Autocad, Rhino, and Keyshot.
- Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Outlook: Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Outlook.
