Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiographer Special Procedure to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
- Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure their imaging needs are met.
- Participate in PI/ QC activities and assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
- Oversee radiology area and/or staff in Manager's/Director's absence.
- Maintain department supplies and promote teamwork and good customer service.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Proficient computer skills.
