Position Summary:
Congo Brands is seeking a PIM System Administrator to take charge of our product information management system. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and distribution of product data across multiple platforms, including Salsify and BOX. The PIM System Administrator will collaborate with system owners to guarantee effective data integrations, flow, and processing within our operational ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the PIM system, ensuring efficient product data administration.
- Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of PIM system integrations and data workflows.
- Work closely with IT and product teams to optimize product data syndication across retail channels.
- Establish and uphold data governance standards to ensure high-quality data management.
- Provide training and support to users regarding PIM system functionalities.
- Engage with stakeholders to align data requirements with business goals.
- Manage the integration of new products and updates, ensuring data consistency across platforms.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PIM processes.
- Evaluate system performance and propose enhancements for improved user experience.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in PIM systems and data management technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product information management.
- Strong understanding of PIM systems and data syndication methodologies.
- Experience managing product data throughout its lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Salsify, BOX, and other relevant PIM tools.
- Experience in supporting product information within customer support and manufacturing ERP systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various functional areas related to product management.
- Solid grasp of data structures and best practices in product information management.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets and complex data environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and training capabilities.
