Administrative Support Team Lead

At Kay Search Group, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Supervisor to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy leading and mentoring others.
About the RoleThis position will oversee daily operations, manage projects, and provide guidance to employees in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage daily assignments and ongoing projects, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership and professional development skills.
- Promote a culture of teamwork and self-directed work teams, leveraging internal and external training methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure proper workflow and assignment of attorney/secretarial and attorney/legal assistant teams.
- Assist in determining operational support required for new cases and overall case management.
- Maintain effective communication with attorneys, ensuring smooth daily and long-term workflows.
- Consult with attorneys to recommend and implement changes and improvements in methods and procedures.
- Monitor time, attendance, overtime, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with Firm policies.
- Work closely with senior management to prepare and monitor department budgets and expenditures.
- Actively assist in coordinating work rooms and review spaces.
- Coordinate legal assistant staffing with supervisors and managers in other offices.
- Oversee employee work performance and provide guidance in resolving problems.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant administrative management experience in a law firm and/or professional services field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising others.
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Working knowledge of litigation matters and corporate transactions with litigation support/legal technology experience.
- Proven ability to effectively lead, coordinate, and implement projects, processes, and change management.
- Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
- Ability to execute instructions and Firm policies with authority.
- Ability to handle more complex issues/duties requiring independent exercise of discretion and judgment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus full benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
