Job Summary

The Injectable Technician I provides critical support to the manufacturing department, focusing on injectable products, to ensure high-quality products for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks in a HZ3/HZ4 clean room environment, adhering to strict gowning protocols.
  • Assist in setting up and operating labeling equipment for pre-filled syringes and vials, including equipment in sterile support areas.
  • Help set up and operate semi-automatic packaging equipment for pre-filled syringes.
  • Conduct in-process sampling, testing, and inspection on the packaging line.
  • Assist with cleaning and environmental monitoring of process rooms.
  • Execute the needle cleaning process, ensuring proper setup, execution, and cleanup.
  • Verify that product quality meets approved specifications.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with standard operation procedures (SOPs) and production records, aiming for "Right the First Time" results.
  • Participate in annual hazardous waste training, including container and tank management, hazardous waste generation, and transfer between lab procedure areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary.
  • Acceptable results on basic skill assessment.
Working Conditions
  • Shift work in a manufacturing area.
  • May require overtime.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $18.54 per hour.
  • Shift differential: $2.50 per hour.
