Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician I provides critical support to the manufacturing department, focusing on injectable products, while ensuring the highest quality standards for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks in a clean room environment, adhering to strict clean room gowning protocols.
  • Assist in setting up and operating labeling equipment for pre-filled syringes and vials, as well as equipment in sterile support areas.
  • Set up and operate semi-automatic packaging equipment for pre-filled syringes.
  • Conduct in-process sampling, testing, and inspection on the packaging line.
  • Assist in setting up, disassembling, and cleaning syringe filling/stoppering equipment.
  • Prepare equipment and parts for sterilization.
  • Participate in the bulking/filtration process prior to aseptic filling.
  • Maintain proper aseptic technique in ISO 5-6 environments.
  • Clean critical aseptic environments as required to maintain a cGMP environment and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure product quality meets approved specifications.
  • Perform job responsibilities in accordance with SOPs and production records, with an emphasis on "Right the First Time".
  • Participate in annual hazardous waste training, including container and tank management, hazardous waste generation, and transfer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Acceptable results on basic skill assessment.
