Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $17.58, with an additional $4.23/hr allocated for Health and Welfare (H&W).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to program managers, including typing, editing, and distributing various correspondence following established protocols.
  • Prepare personal awards utilizing a standardized template and ensure proper engraving of names and logos on plaques in line with operational guidelines.
  • Manage incoming calls and visitors, directing them appropriately.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings and appointments, including conference calls, as necessary.
  • Engage with staff, applicants, and the public on a daily basis to facilitate communication.
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for applicant documentation, correspondence, reports, and other materials as directed.
  • Assist with the distribution, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and preparation of routine correspondence and materials.
  • Compile and maintain data for inclusion in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Support the verification and accuracy of applicant enlistment paperwork and update records using secure personnel data systems.
  • Analyze and present statistical data related to applicant tracking, goal achievement, and marketing strategies for both officer and enlisted programs.
  • Generate reports for Program Managers detailing recurring issues, corrective actions taken, and resource needs to meet recruiting goals.
  • Track workload data and progress towards objectives using web-based Navy applications and other commercial software.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required (higher education may account for experience).
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in editing and formatting documents according to Navy Correspondence Manual and SECNAV awards instructions.
