About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Sales Representative to join our team at Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. As a key member of our branch operations group, you will be responsible for selling our products and services to prospective and established customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by maintaining house accounts and communicating with dealers about new product launches, services, supplies, prices, and discounts.
  • Conduct outbound calls to existing and lost customer accounts to maintain sales programs within assigned territories.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through walk-ins, phone calls, and emails, ensuring a smooth and quick sales process.
  • Execute all aspects of the sales function, including order processing, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates.
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications as needed.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors regarding shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
  • Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with warranties and returns, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to resolve problems.
  • Perform daily processing of cash drawers, end-of-shift counts, and prepare deposit slips.
  • Periodically reach out to customers to determine satisfaction with our organization, products, and services.
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory, and maintain records and reports on sales activities.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of progressive sales and customer service experience.
  • 5+ years in the HVAC industry.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
