Job Summary

The Regional Airport Manager will lead and support a team of Business Operations Managers in achieving high levels of sales and operational excellence across a portfolio of airports. This role will involve implementing best practices, providing guidance and collaboration, and driving revenue growth through targeted initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Airport Business Operations Managers in achieving budgeted revenue targets.
  • Implement customer-centric initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Drive revenue goal attainment through revenue reporting, projections, and sales activity tracking.
  • Implement best practices regarding sales, marketing, and operational objectives.
  • Create a forum for Airport Business Operations Managers to communicate and address issues.
  • Serve as a sounding board and elevation point for challenges and issues.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive business plans.
  • Implement targeted initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with all departments to drive revenue goal attainment.
  • Coordinate with Director, VP, and other Regional Managers to create consistent presentations.
  • Engage with National, Local, and Import organizations to develop impactful marketing resources.
  • Work with Senior Management, Airport Business Operations Managers, Sales, Development, and Operations staff to set targets and standards.
  • Implement enterprise-wide changes in policies, practices, and methods.
  • Foster positive partnerships with airports and stakeholders to enhance revenue opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership in sales, marketing, development, properties, and/or project management.
  • Strong sales and service mindset, with exceptional people management and team performance experience.
  • Knowledge of media and advertising industry, business cycles, and key revenue and expense drivers.
  • Able to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience with sales organizations, including building and developing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including delivering effective presentations and leading meetings.
  • Ability to identify root cause of issues and quickly work to resolve them.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications.

  • This job is generally performed in a temperature-controlled airport environment.
  • The requirements of the job include occasional exposure to dust and fumes.
  • Duties are occasionally performed evening or late-night hours.
  • Able to walk through airport terminals of varying sizes.
Other Requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Able to travel up to 30-40% of the time for periodic corporate meetings, sales-related meetings, and industry events.
  • When needed, able to work beyond normal business hours to help meet critical deadlines.
