Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine/OBGYN ultrasound to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, analyzing sonograms, and providing accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations in compliance with AIUM Guidelines.
  • Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures as appropriate.
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information, medical history and findings to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients during sonographic exams.
  • Operate Ultrasound diagnostics equipment and perform dynamic procedures in the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine/OBGYN Ultrasound.
  • Responsible for daily operations of patient schedule, equipment maintenance, documentation of ultrasound findings, reporting of equipment failures and quality assessment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited training program of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent (RDMS).
  • Two (2) years of Clinical Ultrasound experience.
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) licensure.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas, ability to maintain harmonious and effective relationships with patients and personnel.
