Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Manager to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities and special events that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote employee engagement and satisfaction by developing and executing unique employee events and experiences.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of activities and special events in our amenity spaces, including the Cooking School and Coffee bar.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless guest experiences and effective communication.
  • Partner with key department leads to assist with culinary programs and events.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to acquire internal and external clients through trade shows, community events, and industry-related meetings.
  • Manage and coordinate with Marketing/Communications Management on the content of digital displays.
  • Tour and meet with prospective internal and external clients to showcase our spaces.
  • Exhibit superb organization skills and manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of corporate, conference center, or hotel sales and/or events experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings as needed.
  • Effective negotiating skills managing outside vendors' relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment.
  • Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to achieving excellence, down to the smallest of details.
