Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team at Spee-Dee Delivery. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting parcels on an established route, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity
  • Drive tractor-trailer combinations or straight trucks to transport parcels on assigned routes
  • Verify load-related documentation and ensure accuracy
  • Transfer freight between terminals and unload at designated locations
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, maintenance, and delivery manifests
  • Adhere to company safety policies and DOT regulations
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Doubles/triples endorsement required
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
  • Pass a DOT physical and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds repetitively
  • Ability to work with various types of freight, including hazardous materials and live animals
