CDL Class A Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A driver to join our team at Spee-Dee Delivery. As a CDL Pick-Up Driver, you will be responsible for transporting parcels on an established route, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity
  • Load and unload freight, verifying documentation and completing necessary paperwork
  • Drive to shippers and terminals, adhering to company safety policies and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including mileage and maintenance logs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery operations
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A driver's license and good driving record
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Doubles/triples endorsement
  • Good customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
  • Pass a DOT physical and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work with various types of freight, including hazardous materials and live animals
