Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. Our team provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients.
- Utilize critical thinking and the nursing process to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status.
- Practice in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients and uphold their autonomy in decision-making.
- Actively seek feedback and act to improve performance.
- Engage in the governance of practice.
- Manage interpersonal relationships for self and with others.
- Mentor colleagues for the advancement of nursing practice and the profession.
- Assume authority and accountability for the nursing care of patients.
- Prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes.
- Actively seek out the most current evidence and standards and apply and translate to daily practice.
- Role model a culture of inquiry and develop new knowledge by contributing to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice.
- Actively partner with others to effect change that produces positive outcomes.
- Precept student nurses, nurse externs, nurse residents, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience.
- Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in New Hampshire required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire and as applicable, higher level per unit certification requirements as stated on the grid attached to the AHA and Life Support Policy.
