Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of produce suppliers to ensure compliance with our food safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce risks throughout the produce supply chain.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and safety practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide recommendations to enhance our produce programs.
  • Mentor and train analysts to ensure a well-rounded and focused produce team.
  • Lead the Supplier Scorecard Program to drive continuous improvement.
  • Hold analysts accountable for maintaining internal programs and ensuring data accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Food Microbiology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the food/agriculture industry with a focus on food safety.
  • Strategic thinking, relationship building, and mentorship skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, perform statistical analysis, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
