About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer and Tech Lead at MyCareersFuture, you will play a key role in driving the development of our software solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, fully tested source code that meets our quality indicators objectives.
- Collaborate with the Architect and business analyst to address technical and functional aspects of our projects.
- Liaise with business analysts to clarify and understand project requirements.
- Analyze technical constraints and their functional impacts.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Provide detailed estimates for development solutions.
- Develop a tests strategy in coordination with the project manager and business analysts.
- Perform design and code reviews for team members.
- Implement solutions using Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Mentor junior team members.
- Drive a continuous improvement mindset within the team.
- Work in a fast-paced agile work environment.
- Report code quality indicators to the project manager or team head periodically.
Qualifications and Profile
- 6-10 years of experience in Java.
- Good understanding of counterparty risk domain.
- At least 6+ years of experience in Java tech stack (Java 1.8 or higher, Spring framework).
- Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance benchmarking.
- Solid understanding and experience in working with relational databases, especially MSSQL.
- Tools - Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/Team City, Cucumber, Selenium, Ansible.
- Source management GIT, TDD using Junit, DBUnit, Jira/QC.
- At least 3+ years of experience in Responsive UI design/development using Angular.
- Experience in Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of GCP or AWS is an added advantage.
