Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at 7-Eleven. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handle customer complaints in a professional manner, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, restocking shelves, and ensuring that the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present food items according to company standards, including making sandwiches, salads, and other food items.
  • Cash Handling and Fuel Transactions: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing fuel transactions and handling customer payments.
  • Multi-Tasking and Teamwork: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Work effectively in a team environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive bending and reaching.
