Job Title: Dishwasher and Steward Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher and Steward Assistant to join our team at The Party Staff. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the proper use and maintenance of equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen and restaurant dishes, glassware, utensils, and other equipment using a dishwasher or by hand as designated.
  • Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Responsible for the appropriate handling and storage of cleaning solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen area by removing trash and grease, sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping down counters during shift and before leaving.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of kitchen experience in a high-volume setting.
  • Knowledge of proper food safety handling.
  • Positive can-do attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, stretch, squat, reach, and lift to 35 lbs.
