Driver/Dishwasher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a versatile and reliable individual to join our team at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort as a Driver/Dishwasher. This dual-role position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth operation of our resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving: Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, equipment, or personnel as required. Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance. Maintain logs of vehicle usage and report any incidents or delays.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize all kitchenware, glassware, utensils, and dishes. Manually wash items when necessary, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing stations and storage areas. Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and adhere to DOT regulations.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods while washing dishes.
  • Ability to push and pull heavy carts or equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for operating dishwashing machinery and handling small tools or parts.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including hot kitchen areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in driving/delivery services and/or kitchen operations preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
