APN Radiation Oncology Specialist

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in Medical Oncology is a highly skilled professional responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders. This role requires a strong foundation in oncology, hematology, and genetics, as well as excellent clinical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose patients with cancer and blood disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
The APN will work in a state-of-the-art cancer center, providing care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The center offers a range of services, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and cancer genetics.
Requirements- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Illinois
- Board certification in oncology or hematology
- Experience working in an oncology setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
