Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care as a Medical Assistant in a pediatric setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient flow and facilitate unit operations
  • Perform front desk duties, including scheduling patients and collecting patient information
  • Assist with clinical procedures and provide basic patient care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Requirements
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program
  • 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong preference for those with experience in Pediatrics
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • Medical terminology knowledge
Work Environment

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
